BEST HIGHLIGHTER I'VE USED

No joke the best highlighter I have used in my makeup life. Pretty sure it suits every skin tone, and the pigmentation is beyond the world. Shines especially bright when used with a makeup fixer like Mac's Fix+. I don't think I have ever loved a makeup product as much as I love Mary Lou highlighter :') Please try to see its magic.

Recommended to me by multiple people

This highlighter has a beautiful shimmer suitable for lots of different skin tones. It feels light and comfortable to wear. The small compact is going to last me absolutely ages. I just wanted to get one simple product and this was recommended to me by friends and a makeup artist.

Favourite champagne highlight

I was debating between picking up this highlighter and the becca ones but chose to get the mary-lou manizer instead as it is slightly cheaper. The formula is really soft, smooth and pigmented. It is my favourite champagne highlight as it can be natural or built up to be a blinding highlight. It is also not glittery and gives the cheekbones an almost wet or glossy look. It's a highlight suitable for daily wear to work or school.

Glow glow glow

This is such a beautiful highlighter. I love the insane glow I can build with it, while still being able to do subtler looks on my NC10 skin. I was worried that this would be too dark but it was not an issue. This highlighter has a lovely champagne gold finish to it, so it warms up your look along with the beautiful highlight effect.

Performed beyond expectations

I'll admit it, I added this item into my cart because I desperately needed to make the minimum order requirement for free delivery and it was the only product I could add to my overflowing collection. The fact that it was a warm-toned highlighter was a plus and I thought nothing of it. Imagine my surprise when I realized how flattering and incredibly soft it was on my skin. I'm not one for shimmer, so the low-profile shine is completely up my alley. I've swatched and witnessed other highlighters at work and I still think this has become my ride-or-die. I wish it was less pricy (and it should be because the packaging is not impressive in the least), but the formula lives up to the hype. I usually tap this onto my cheekbones with a small foundation brush or my ring finger.

Absolutely love this product!!!!

I was so excited to receive this product and it was exactly what I hoped for! The colour of the highlight when applied is so beautiful and is just as beautiful in photos. I apply the highlight with a fan brush, it is buildable and the glow is so pretty. I love it!

Amazing!

I was recommended this by a friend and it was the first highlighter I ever bought when I first started to get into makeup. It is now my favourite highlighter, I use it for eyeshadow as well. And smells great too! Highly recommend anyone to try it and bling everyone out of the room.

Not worth the hype

It's nice - yes, but is it anything amazing formula-wise? colour-wise? packaging-wise? Not really. One of the first widely purchased highlighter is ok, but I don't use it enough to justify the purchase I think. It is a soft formula, and unfortunately my first purchase arrived broken. Sephora immediately fixed the issue though, by offering to resend, which was a relief as I don't live near a Sephora.

*v*

I bought this because I didn't want to spend so much and get a becca highlighter. But later on, I actually got the mini becca highlighter during the Christmas sale. To me, the two are comparable. The only minute difference is that the becca pressed highlighter is more finely milled. Otherwise, I think this is a more affordable version.
