When Classic Meets Modern: Timeless Miu Miu Fragrances

Isn’t it funny how we’re instinctively attracted to certain scents, tastes and looks? Some of us love the classics while our closest friends much prefer contemporary, modern options. Countless customers adore floral scents while others opt for musk, citrus or oriental perfumes. Miu Miu understand that we all have our different fragrance styles, just as have individual dress senses and music preferences. For that reason, they ensure their perfumes are as gloriously different as you are. The main thing that sets perfumes apart is whether they fall into the classic or contemporary camps. While some women switch between the two, the rest of us are drawn to one or the other. If you’re treating a loved one, the best thing to know is which they prefer. You’re more likely to hit the mark with a classic or contemporary fragrance if you know your recipient's preference!

What are classic fragrances?

Classic fragrances are those that stand the test of time, and which lovingly embrace more traditional fragrances notes. Beautiful bouquets of florals are commonly found within classic fragrances, with lily scents and jasmine scents being two of the most popular. If you love a sweet and feminine fragrance style, it’s likely a classic scent will suit you. Dating back to the era of elegant movie stars like Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, there’s something nostalgic and captivating about the classics.

What are modern fragrances?

As the modern woman has evolved, so has the world of perfume. The classics no longer suit everyone and as a result, countless innovative and contemporary fragrances have made it to the market. Explosive new fragrance notes like pink pepper, orange zest and lychee have reinvented the classics, while rollerballs and travel minis have changed the way we apply and transport our favourite fragrances. As bold, forward-thinking women, we love experimenting with the latest fragrance notes and styles. Rather than wearing one perfume our whole life, we demand new and exciting options. Well, why shouldn’t we?

The best of both: Miu Miu perfumes

Miu Miu understand the complexities of being a modern woman. Rather than offering a fragrance style that’s exclusively classic or contemporary, they bring the best of both worlds to their beloved collection of edps and edts. Their fragrances boast a mischievous quality that’s both edgy, playful and traditional. Well-loved fragrance notes are paired alongside contemporary ingredients for a modern interpretation of the classics. The Mio Miu packaging is no exception. Colour pops from the 1980s meet modern shapes and styles. The result? An iconic yet experimental look. There’s something about the Miu Miu fragrances that can’t be pinned down - what could be more fitting for the modern, mysterious woman?
