When Dermalogica Founder Jane Wurwand's daughters first encountered breakouts, she found that many products made for younger skin contained harsh, inexpensive or artificial ingredients that could dry, irritate and further strip skin, causing more breakouts. Wanting better, she developed Clear Start, Dermalogica's first skincare line for young, breakout-prone skin. The rest, is history.
